Summer Camp

Two week Unified Art Studio Summer Camp program designed to offer a creative and engaging art experience for youth.
Each week will focus on a different age group, and each day will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The camp is designed to be cost-effective while covering staffing, supplies, and basic overhead costs.

WHAT:

“Animal Kingdom” theme incorporating a range of age-appropriate projects such as collage, painting, sculpture, and papier-mâché. Activities will be tailored to each age group’s abilities and developmental levels.

WHEN:

• Week 1: Monday, August 4th – Friday, August 8th (Ages 6-9)
• Week 2: Monday, August 11th – Friday, August 15th (Ages 10-13)
• Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
• Location: Unified Art Studio

Each group will have a curriculum adapted to their developmental stage while staying within the overarching “Animal Kingdom” theme.

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:

9:00 – 9:15 AM: Welcome, Warm-up Activity (Animal-themed Icebreaker)
9:15 – 10:15 AM: Main Art Project (animal collage, sculpture, etc.)
10:15 – 10:30 AM: Snack/Break (brought from home)
10:30 – 11:30 AM: Secondary Art Project or Group Project
11:30 – 12:00 PM: Studio Cleanup and Art Reflection

ART PROJECTS BY AGE GROUP:

Ages 6-9 (Week 1):

  • Animal Collage (Mixed Media)

  • Papier-mâché Mini Animal Sculptures

  • Watercolor Animal Portraits

  • Nature Prints and Animal Tracks

Ages 10-13 (Week 2):

  • Papier-mâché Life-size Animal Masks

  • Acrylic Painting of Favorite Animals

  • 3D Animal Habitat Dioramas

  • Mixed-Media Storyboards (Create a short animal story using art)

Staffing and Support:

  • 1 Lead Instructor

  • 1-3 Volunteers (depending on enrollment numbers)

    Staff will be responsible for setup, instruction, supervision, and cleanup.

TUITION ESTIMATE:

To cover staffing, supplies, and overhead while keeping it affordable:

  • Cost per Student: $150 per week

  • Sibling Discount: $25 off second child’s registration

Example:

  • 10 students at $150 = $1,500/week

  • Covers supplies, staff, and basic operational expenses with modest surplus for studio overhead.
